Do you want to know the 5 key determinants of whether a food is healthy or unhealthy for you right now? Watch to learn about The Law of Dietary Relativity, which holds the answer to that question. Hello and welcome everyone. According to The Law of Dietary Relativity whether food is healthy or unhealthy for you, is going to depend on several different factors. 1 Physical Health Let’s say that you are dealing with a disease in the short term and your digestive capabilities are severely compromised. Clearly, even the most nutritious foods are most likely going to be rejected by the body. Keeping a lighter diet and perhaps doing a day or two of fasting may the most beneficial solution. On the other hand, when you recover fully you will need strong food that will help your body to rebuild itself and experience energy and vibrancy. 2 Mental state We now know that our emotions have major implications for all hormonal systems in the body and how our digestion works. When we are stressed or anxious, any food that we eat is going to be unhealthy for our body. That’s why it is better not to consume anything if you are not in a positive mental state. 3 Overall diet For most people, the addition of fresh fruit and vegetables is going to be an improvement over their typical diet. That is because these fruit and vegetables are most likely going to displace less healthy foods. If on the other hand, you are on an elimination diet very pure low-carb or zero-carb diet, you are most likely to experience negative effects if you were to introduce something like fresh fruit. 4 Lifestyle and habits If you are an elite athlete, training six days a week, twice a day, your dietary needs are going to be significantly different from what a sedentary office worker needs. Your habits also play a part. Let’s say you’ve been sleep deprived for a couple of days. This is going to take its toll on your digestion and how you process different foods. In the short term, the best thing to do would be to take care of resting and allowing your system to recharge its batteries. Then you can re-introduce strong nutritious foods back into your diet. 5 Beliefs and conditioning Let’s say that you believe that there is something inherently wrong with eating animal flesh. In that case, it is very likely that the programming from your brain and mind is going to have an impact on how meat affects your body. On the other hand, if you believe that animal foods are necessary and nutritious, then you are going to experience them as supremely healthy. If you were raised to believe that certain foods are necessary or essential for optimal health, you may carry that belief with your over your lifetime. These beliefs may have implications on how your body responds to different foods. What all this means for you is that a diet that used to work for you at a certain stage in your life may no longer be healthy or optimal. Also, certain foods that seemed to promote well-being in you may no longer be applicable in the current context and the diet you are practising. I hope this makes sense to you.
