"I think therefore I am." Descartes said,
assuming, living from the head.
Always having stuff to do,
the brain is racing with no clue.
To solve a "problem" is assumed,
information needs to be consumed.
Collecting facts with lots of struggle,
things are getting hard to juggle.
Proceeding always from the head, I find,
resembles strongly being blind.
Thinking, thinking with no pause -
that's the stress's cause.
Stopping for a moment's not a crime,
it reveals a state sublime.
Glancing in the space between -
the mind becomes serene.
Carefree, with worries none,
yet every thing is getting done.
Tasks and projects get proceeded,
expectations are exceeded.
With an effortless completion,
energy knows no depletion.
Eventually a thought will appear,
still there is nothing to fear.
Seeing it as a floating cloud
it is not to be disallowed.
Not grasping or pushing away,
it has no reason to stay.
When the thought passes by,
no need to wave it goodbye.
Once again clear is the sky...
Once again open is the Eye...
